Eyelash Extension Infills Sydney

Keep Your Eyelashes Looking Beautiful With Regular Infills

Quality Eyelash Infills in Sydney

Due to the life cycle of your natural lashes your lash extensions will progressively start to fall out over time.

In order to keep your extensions looking full, eyelash extensions infills are needed at certain stages to keep your appearance up. We generally recommend infills to be done 2-3 weeks after your initial application so your lashes always look their best.

If you have not been to elegance before we unfortunately can’t do your infills due to differences in quality of product and application so a new set will need to be done for you first.

FAQ

Eyelash extensions are semi permanent synthetic or man made fake lashes that are glued directly to your individual natural lashes. You will need to first pick what design, length and curl you want your lashes to look like.

The process of application begins with applying an under eye gel pad to ensure your bottom lashes do not become glued to the top set of lashes. Then with professionally designed tweezers we isolate your natural lash so a false lash can then be applied on top.

This may take from 1-3hrs to apply a new set of lashes extensions depending on what style you go for.

Generally speaking, lash extensions can last up to 6 weeks! However, there are many factors that can contribute to the longevity of your eyelash extensions including the life cycle growth of your individual lashes and after care.

On average, people lose between 1- 5 natural eyelashes every day. This means when your natural lashes begin to shed the lash extension that is attached to it will fall off.

The better you take care of your lashes the longer they will last. Avoid using oily products around your eye and use a lash cleanser to help keep your lashes clean from day to day oils.

It is highly recommended to come in after 2-3 weeks for an infill to maintain the fullness of your lash extensions.

Application isn’t painful to your eyes or eyelashes. If your eyes are sensitive, you may feel a little stinging sensation. This is mild and should not cause any major discomfort during or after the procedure.

Anyone with extreme eye sensitivity should first have a test patch done, then wait a week to make a booking for an eyelash extensions procedure.

Eyelash extensions are a safe and non invasive cosmetic procedure. As the materials used are high quality and specially made for use near the eye area, it is a very safe procedure. The adhesive is also applied to the natural lashes and not the skin so it is highly unlikely to cause any reaction.

When eyelash extensions are applied correctly there is no to very minimal damage to the natural lash. Trying to remove or pick the lash extensions yourself can cause damage to the natural lash. After care is especially important with keeping your natural lash staying strong and the lash extensions lasting for as long as possible.

Yes, it is completely safe as eyelash extensions are a non-invasive procedure. Being pregnant can change the way your skin reacts to certain products. It is advised you have a test patch done 1 week before your appointment to determine if you have a skin allergy.

During the application of your lashes, you are required to lay on your back for long periods of time and depending on how far along in your pregnancy this may cause some back discomfort.

It’s always important to be gentle and to take care of lashes if you want them to last longer. There are many oil-based removers and eye products that can weaken the glue between your natural lashes and the extensions. Due to this you need to stay clear of any products that are oil based and use products that are oil -free and very low in glycol/glycerin ingredients.

To clean your lash extensions, you can either purchase a cleanser designed specifically for eyelash extensions or apply water or a water-based oil-free cleanser.

Clean your eyelashes with a lash foam, rinse with water, and gently brush your lashes. Using a clean mascara wand, regularly brush your lashes to keep them untangled and curled the right way.

Make sure you don’t use mascara on your hybrid or volume lashes. Mascara causes the lashes to stick together ruining your extensions. When this occurs infills can no longer be applied to your lashes.

Classic lashes involve applying which one false lash to one natural lash. This can look quite natural or glamorous depending on how many false lashes you apply to the eye and how obvious the curl is.

Russian Volume are lash extensions that can go from 2-6 false lashes applied to 1 single natural lash. They are fanned out and mostly made by hand and are a lot thinner than single lashes. They give a more full volumed look.

These are the 3 types of materials that are generally used when applying lashes.

Silk lash extensions are man made fibres made from real silk. They are cheaper but don’t last very long.

Synthetic lash extensions are the firmest and a lot thicker than faux mink and silk. They don’t have a soft or natural look and many technicians don’t use this material anymore.

Faux mink are also man made fibres that are created to imitate real fur. They are light weight, have more of a tapered end and have a glossy finish. They are by far the highest quality lashes and last the longest.

At elegance we only use faux mink lash extensions to give you the best quality, longest lasting and safest lashes for your natural lash.
